Had a bit of an 'inky' day today with my card for the colour challenge at ColourQ. I noticed the cherry blossom in the orchards as I drove to work earlier this week and thought that these colours were perfect
photograph, and is very simple.
First I stamped and heat embossed the cherry tree branch and then masked off the centre of the card. I sponged the two pinks and Pear Pizazz and then added drops of water to create the bokeh . These take time to develop and it's quite fun to watch! Finally I stamped on the greeting. I made a one layer version of this card, but then remembered the fourth colour, so this version is matted onto sage coloured card.
With the card neatly divided into thirds I am going to enter the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays, just noticed the sentiment is three words too, there's a coincidence!
I was so pleased with this card that I had another go, this time a more somber colour scheme for a sympathy card I needed.

This time I've used a Woodware stamp image, heat embossed and I've used two shades of blue and
Perfect Plum. The darker spots are added with the rubber on the end of a pencil, using the
Pacific Point blue. This time the mat is black, I'm going to enter this in the challenge at LessIsMore, where they want cards with three colours.
j'admire, je n'arrive pas a faire aussi bien, je dois dire que c'est magnifique, biz
