I had already decided to use the cloud embossing folder. I printed the airplane image, fussy cut it out and stamped the sentiment from Fabulous Four, which I chose simply because I thought it fitted well with the design.
I split the sentiment up to make a banner for the 'plane and placed the rest on the layers. I did have a few tries at the embossing, the first time I sponged some blue ink over to make it more sky-like, but in the end went for a complete clean and simple look. You can see it better on the next photo.
Great card

ReplyDeleteTerrific idea to make a guy get well card! Something I would not have thought of! Clever!
ReplyDeleteLove this aeroplane pulling the banner, such a versatile stamp to have in your stash. Looks amazing used as a get well card and that rhyming sentiment made me smile.
ReplyDeleteI love the plane pulling the message - reminds me of summer days in England! Such a great take on the challenge. xx
ReplyDeleteI love the embossed clouds, they look just great behind the plane. And such a great idea to have the plane pulling the word banner - too cute!
