Christmas Eve.

Good morning! The weather here is very unseasonal for the 1st of November, warm and sunny, but that won't stop me adding another card to my stack for Christmas, this time for 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown. This week we have a sketch for you, nice and easy

You are welcome to use any shape and I chose to use an aperture to give a negative frame effect. I sponged the sky, stamped the trees (Lovely As A Tree, such a classic) in silver. Then I added ripped paper snow, with a touch of dazzling details to look frosty and a flying Santa from Winter Wonderland before placing my die cut aperture over the top. The sentiment is from Ornamental Pine.

I've added three stamped silver stars and a silver cord, mine stretches over the whole card and that's cool as well, just don't leave off a ribbon, we need to see all the elements of the sketch there in some way or another. I'm going to enter my card in Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge, haven't been able to play over there for a while so that's good this week.

  1. Oh I do like this with Santa flying over the winter scene! Lovely shaded sky and I think your torn paper makes great snow!

  8. I have so many wonderful memories as a child of looking in the Christmas sky for Santa and the reindeer. That's what this beautiful card reminds me of Louise.
