My cat is the same, a black outline stamp, coloured in with Promarkers, sat on the window sill, looking out at a snowy scene, created using Winter Wonderland. I've used the torn paper snow drift that I used a couple of weeks ago, highlighted with Dazzling Details and the snowmen are cut out to add a little dimension to the scene. The striped DP is supposed to represent wallpaper.
I've stamped half of the greeting on the front of the card and the rest inside, as you can see below.
I hope that you are well on your way to having your cards done, 5 weeks to go now. I'm spending the day Christmas shopping with my daughter in Leicester, which no doubt will include a stop in a favourite coffee shop for one of those deliciously warming festive hot chocolates with all the trimmings, yum yum!
Superb! Great winter scene with the snowmen and birds, love the sparkle on the snowdrifts, and the cat looking out is just fab!
ReplyDeleteLouise, c'est si joli, j'aime ce chat posé devant la fenêtre, biz
ReplyDeleteLouise, what an adorable card bringing cosy feeling! Love cheerful snowmen and sparkling snowdrifts. This is a smart idea to split the sentiment and stamp it also inside the card. Thanks for your comment on my entry, I really appreciate it :) Sweet Kobylkin
ReplyDeleteLove your cute little cat looking out at your snowmen.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by must say the challenge did put me into a spin to start off but even I am quite happy with the end result. I am my own worse critic. Just preparing my cards for overseas want to get them in the post tomorrow and having a fit at the postage rate. Thank goodness we only have Christmas once a year.
Hugs

Gorgeous - looks like Louis! xx
ReplyDeleteThe black cat looking out the window is so much like our Lyric! Your card is charming, Louise. Excellently done!

ReplyDeleteI think you did a FAB job on this Louise. I can just imagine myself sitting across the room from this cat and watching it looking out the window.
