Love Joy and Burlap

I managed to sneak a n hour or so crafting, in between Christmas shopping and wrapping, and have created a card with the help of one or two challenges.  The sketch is this weeks challenge at CAS
 Colours and Sketches

The colour palette comes from Colour Q Challenge #219 (isn't that little owl gorgeous?)

and the theme from Addicted To CAS- snowflakes

So here is my card, I am stuck on emboss resist at the moment- love the whiteness of the stamped image. The stamp is my magazine freebie.  I found a piece of DP with what I thought looked like a snowflake too.  My sentiment is Love and Joy and I've fussy cut it out -quite pleased with the result. Just couldn't resist adding the on-trend burlap ribbon- found in the Christmas wrapping aisle in the supermarket

  1. Louise, this is a stunning Christmas card. Love the layout and the perfectly-cut sentiment.
Thank you so much for joining us at ATCAS.
Have a happy Christmas - Sylvia xx

  2. What a gorgeous and dynamic card, love the use of all of your patterned papers, thanks so much for joining us at ATCAS and good luck.

  3. So impressed with your emboss resist technique - I've tried twice now and it was hopeless both times lol! Love your burlap bow...fits in nicely with the Colour Q photo. Thanks for playing along at Colour Q this week!

Thanks for leaving a comment. I love reading them all!
