Love Joy and Burlap

I managed to sneak a n hour or so crafting, in between Christmas shopping and wrapping, and have created a card with the help of one or two challenges.  The sketch is this weeks challenge at CAS
 Colours and Sketches

The colour palette comes from Colour Q Challenge #219 (isn't that little owl gorgeous?)

and the theme from Addicted To CAS- snowflakes

So here is my card, I am stuck on emboss resist at the moment- love the whiteness of the stamped image. The stamp is my magazine freebie.  I found a piece of DP with what I thought looked like a snowflake too.  My sentiment is Love and Joy and I've fussy cut it out -quite pleased with the result. Just couldn't resist adding the on-trend burlap ribbon- found in the Christmas wrapping aisle in the supermarket

  3. So impressed with your emboss resist technique - I've tried twice now and it was hopeless both times lol! Love your burlap bow...fits in nicely with the Colour Q photo. Thanks for playing along at Colour Q this week!
