Here is my entry for this week's challenge from the Make My Monday team, a birthday card with pearls, June's birthstone. My card started with a small piece of shell themed paper. I began to think of pearlised colours and made the flourish using a selection of pearl stick-ons. I wanted to make the pearls the main feature. I made a 'seal' of the sentiment using a stamp and paper, both from Stampin' Up, and layered this onto pink and then green cardstock. The part I like best is the background, which I made using outline peel-offs, which I inked over in Pool Party and then removed the stickers. I know someone who has a birthday coming up real soon, hope she likes this card!
I love your shell theme here Louise and the pearl flourish looks beautiful in those soft colours. I really like the way your background turned out too! (I think she might very well like this card a lot if it's who I'm thinking of!) Vicky x
