I made this card to enter the challenge at
Less is More where it's a one layer card featuring something with wings . Well, I did go for the obvious - the little bird from SUs Nature Walk, but I stamped him off the page and added a sprig of holly in his beak. I stamped in Crumb Cake and River Rock and coloured in the leaves and berries with my markers. I made a double score line to 'ground' the bird image and the card blank is a lovely textured ivory colour. I have made a few of these cards as I'm rather pleased with the design. As it is also very clean and simple I would like to enter it in the challenge at
Addicted to Stamps where it's a CAS week.
Love this Louise - might have to 'borrow' this idea! - Jacqueline xx
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Louise. Great stamps - I haven't acquired these yet but you have made me think that I just have to have them! Perfect CAS too! Thanks so much for playing along at ATS&M! xx
ReplyDeleteA beautiful CAS Christmas card! And the scoring and texture are lovely. Thank you for joining us at Addicted to Stamps and More. Sue x
ReplyDeleteLove this card and the holly in the birdie's beak....very christmassy!
ReplyDeleteA very beautiful design, I like it how you didn't stamp the whole bird! Thank you so much for sharing with us at ATSAM this week. Hugs, Nonni.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful CAS card. Love how you've used only part of the bird image - a really nice touch! Also, the scored lines are such a great detail for not giving the impression of the bird floating..
ReplyDeleteA beautiful CAS card and perfect for our challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More! Thanks for joi ing us this week.
