Let's take a look at the Male Room card first
the MERRY from Seasonal Scatterings in white craft ink and embossed with tinsel white embossing
powder (I have previously found that the stamped ink dries rather pale unless embossed). I added the
Christmas, since I find men like you to be specific 😉
As its Christmas I've broken my two male card rules, there is ribbon and bling on this card!
The second card started in the same way, with the Hardwood stamp stamped in Lost Lagoon onto the pale green C&S, but then I used this gorgeously retro Christmas colour combination from The Colour Throwdown team...
I found some little wooded clothes pegs in my stash and decided to use those on my card
Such pretty cards Louise. Love the heat embossed images and the wood grain background. Thank you for playing along with us at The Color Throwdown.
ReplyDeleteLouise I love your idea for male card..that wood grain in green is totally awesome I never made it in green always with brown color must try this too..simple design and great element for manly card...I love this..

ReplyDeleteYour square card for the color challenge is fabulous!! I love the panel look and all of those snowflakes around the "merry". Super combination of things. Your clothes pins are the perfect embellishment.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are beautiful! You did great with the color challenge too. They both could go to men with the wood grain. Fabulous work :o)
