A Tulip from Amsterdam

At last I have found a few minutes to write a post! It's been a hectic week, first my car broke down, big time -looks like a complete new engine is needed, then I've had to work a full week to make up for the time I needed to take off to get the car sorted, my son's had his 18th birthday and I've had a quiz and 2 craft club meetings to go to.  Wow,what a week! This is my first evening at home. Enough moaning, here is my card for the sketch challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches, following this sketch

Simple, isn't it? I love this layout for CAS cards and my sample this week is ultra contemporary

I used a piece of photograph paper to make the 3 panels, the stamp is the tulip from Backyard Basics, fist time of inking up.  I coloured the bloom using promarkers, after stamping and heat embossing the outline. The sentiment is from Friendly Phrases, and went very well with my modern design, I think. See the close up of the flower...

Hope you find time to create a CAS card with the sketch.  Back tomorrow with more Christmas cards ...
